IFB opens 2nd neighborhood food pantry (The Blade)

“For about 25 years, Deneen Jones had to rely on outside help getting free food to those who needed it the most in the Weiler Homes and Spieker Terrace communities in East Toledo.

She does not have to anymore, she said.

“This means a lot to me because we feed a lot of people and now can feed even more. Now, people can come here and choose whatever they need,” she said. “It’s rewarding to me because I know that I have helped somebody.”
